Zona Zanjeros performs in the multimedia arts project “Computer”, a sound based ensemble in NYC as well as collaborative projects with Janna Lee, Gyna Bootleg, and Jason Laser. Zona Zanjeros performs ritualistic offerings within transformative technological landscapes combining both a fear/rejection and a submission/attraction. In "Computer", Zona formulates all sounds originally on the guitar which are then processed through computer software Ableton and Max/MSP. This creates from the guitar a multiplicity of instruments beyond its conventional capacities, both recognizable and unrecognizable and making the guitar an dynamic and infinite vessel.

For this album Deserted, Zona begins with acoustic guitar using preparations and extended techniques and looping to create sounds that mimic decaying landscapes of the American southwestern environments.
